Product Description
1/4 inch soaker dripline has 12 inch spaced inline emitters. Highly resistant to clogging with extremely accurate flow rate. Use at 15-20 psi. Maximum length 33 feet/row. Uses 1/2 gallon per hour per foot at 15 psi. Punch a 1/4 inch hole in 1/2 inch drip hose and attach soaker dripline with a 1/4 inch transfer barb or 1/4 inch connector (see spaghetti fittings). End run with a goof plug. Hold down with spaghetti stakes or jute stakes. Ship wt 2#.

Great for any kind of drip system

I've been using this soaker dripline for years and have installed systems that use it at several houses - in soil ranging from sand to clay. It rarely clogs, and if it does, a pin through the dripper hole opens it right up again, though no doubt is not a recommended technique.
I always use a 15 psi pressure reducer, but one system runs on an artesian well overflow at about 5 psi and still works great. I just run it longer to make up the difference in the slower delivery rate.
I find that I can water different areas on the same line just by varying how close I run the line. Dry areas get wide spacing, wet areas get close spacing.
The soaker dripline has worked far better for me than soaker hose, and is much more convenient than attaching all those individual drippers. Highly recommended.
