Chapin Tape (similar to T-Tape) Great product for the large-scale farm. Rolls out easy, rolls up easy. Select from a variety of weights (mils), emitter spacing, and roll lengths.

Chapin Tape leads the industry in providing the largest flow path, best Cv’s and greatest strength in any wall thickness of tape. Available in 4 mil thru 15 mil with 8 inch or 12 inch spacing. Best engineered flow path design provides better resistance to clogging. 

Chapin tape should be run at 10 psi with a 200 mesh filter.

Light weight 4 mil tape is used for one season only. Commonly used for vegetables and melons.

Light-Medium weight 6 mil tape is used for 1-2 seasons. Commonly used for vegetables.

Medium weight 8 mil tape is recommended for 1-2 seasons where more durability is needed (rocky ground or heavy previous crop residue.

Medium-Heavy weight 10 mil tape is recommended for heavy or rocky soil, where insects or animals are a problem, where it is to be moved or for multi-year use. Used for vegetables and longer term crops.

Heavy weight 15 mil tape is recommeneded where 3 years or longer use is desired, such as berries or permanent crops or where it is desired to roll up the tape in the winter.
